Philosophy by Maslow

Project Caveman is based around Maslow's hierarchy of needs, which is basically a psychological principle describing how we structure our needs, as the psychotic apes that we are.

This blog kind of concentrates on the bottom levels of this pyramid, as that's all that Cavemen knew :) I guess Maslow wasn't around yet....

Higher levels will be discussed, but they are more inferred, bit more boring than the rest of this "interesting" stuff (sorry).

About Project Caveman

Project Caveman is a quest to pursue a reasonable self- sufficiency in the areas of: food, energy, shelter, transport and money, to learn about the good things in life and attain some spiritual and physical freedom in modern life.

It incorporates the (often philosphically opposed) concepts of farming, sustainability, hunting, investing, shares, real estate, technology, self-sufficiency, business, permaculture, cooking, exercise, stress, work and relaxation - though always with the aim to attain the needed skills to pursue an alternative and self-sufficient lifestyle and joie de vivre.

This is a blog of my mental and physical journeys during the pursuit of this self-sufficiency, replete with amusing stories of fails , glorious struggles, and (hopefully) epic wins!
